Rebecca Hughes Interiors provide end-to-end specialist interior design services for private residential clients or commercial developers across London, the UK and internationally.
Our vision is to beautifully curate our clients desires for their homes. Rather than simply trying to impose our style, we believe in the journey of discovery to find what home means to each unique individual.
We are committed to understanding the individual brief and aspirations, with an aim to deliver a collaborative and holistic end-to-end design experience.
PROCESS
1. Design CONCEPTION
The first stage of the process is to discuss the clients aspirations, lifestyle and functionality for the space. We review floorplans which inform lighting and furniture and discuss personal tastes and styles so we can design your home with our expertise. Once a project is complete it is essential to us that it feels like your home. .
2. DETAILED DESIGN
Having understood the brief we get to work in the studio and begin curating detailed schemes for each room. Once we feel confident in the schemes we will create presentations for our clients to review and give feedback on. We pride ourselves on being thick skinned and not easily offended when it comes to client feedback - we want clients to fully articulate their desires.
3. STRUCTURED DESIGN
The next stage requires working with trusted suppliers, from architects to furniture makers, construction services to joiners. This stage ensures nothing is missed and enables efficient and effective troubleshooting. This phase also enables us to give our clients realistic timeframes and assurance that we're managing each part of the process.
4. PROCUREMENT
For our clients we often create and curate bespoke items and ensure all suppliers meet our deadlines. This process is carefully managed by our Procurement Team, who make sure all items - from cushions to desks, candles to armchairs - are ordered and then stored safely before arriving at our clients homes for the installation.
5. Installation
We are meticulous when it comes to our installations and do our utmost to ensure that the usual stresses involved with moving are avoided. In the lead up to, and then during a 5-10 day period (project depending), we oversee quality control of construction finishes, installation of all items and finally styling. Ready for our clients to enjoy!
